gender equality, climate action, economic empowerment, and youth
development.

Our Projects

Economic Empowerment and Accountability

Mojafam has educated
over 2,000 youths and community members on financial management
and entrepreneurship through training sessions and awareness
campaigns, in collaboration with Generation Empower and WAJIBU
Institute.

Climate Action

As part of the Tanzania Youth Organizations Coalition for
climate change and green samia, Mojafam empowers youth, women, and girls by providing climate change education and organizing events like the Local Conference on Youth (LCOY) and climate consultations.

Talent Speak

This project connects artists with governance and
diplomacy, encouraging them to advocate for the SDGs through creative
activities, like art, song, dance etc. Talent Speak empowers youth to use
visual arts, music, and poetry as tools for social change.

Living Green Project

Focused on sustainable living and economic
empowerment, this project promotes textile waste management through a “reduce, reuse, recycle” strategy as well as pushing for behavioral change.

Just S.T.A.R.T

This platform helps youth build essential skills like the 21st
century skills, while also providing opportunities for national and
international engagement.

Smiles 4 Community

Currently operational in Mwanza and Dar es Salaam, Mojafam collects
clothes, shoes, bedding, toys, bags, etc., from community members
and distributes them to those in need. This includes vagrants, beggars,
street children, orphanages, homes for victims of child trafficking, safe
houses, individuals in remote areas, and the elderly in elder homes.
